At a recent SD 52 town hall with State Senator Matt Klein and State Representatives Rick Hansen and Ruth Richardson, our state legislators offered a preview of the upcoming legislative session.
Former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Paul Anderson, who lives in Inver Grove Heights, asked the legislators why they do what they do.
Rick Hansen, who represents House District 52A which includes West St. Paul, had this to say:
“I believe one person can make a difference. … and I see it making a difference.”

Hansen added that as soon as his legislative work is no longer making a difference, he’ll stop doing it.
