Two Rivers Student Marches in Rose Parade

Thanks to Amore Coffee and Cherokee Service for their support.

Two Rivers High School junior Elise Buzzell is marching in today’s Rose Parade in Pasadena with the color guard of the Bands of America Honor Band. She joins a 320-piece national ensemble with winds, percussion, and a flag and dance team. Buzzell is one of only four students in the band from Minnesota.

The select students will march in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day—televised live starting at 10 a.m. Central Time—as well as Disneyland and the Tournament of Roses Bandfest.

“To be selected for this opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for students, and a
testimony to their excellence and achievements,” says Honor Band director Richard Saucedo.

Buzzell has participated in color guard since seventh grade, making this her fifth season of competition.
