With newspapers failing and a coverage area of just five square miles, how does this even work? The support of our neighbors.
What do you like most about being a member? “I like that my monthly donation allows writers to explore topics driven by interest and community welfare, rather than ‘clicks’ or ‘impressions.'”
The community will have a chance to speak on the proposed mental health crisis center at the West St. Paul City Council meeting. Other topics include purchasing the Hy-Vee land, the bike and pedestrian plan, and the final 2023 budget and property tax levy.
“We need new people with new ideas,” said Karen Griffin, former president of Friends of the Wentworth Library.
We hit our goal of 200 members and sent out our latest locally commissioned postcard featuring the West St. Paul dome.
