After more than three months of virtual meetings due to the pandemic, the West St. Paul City Council will be meeting in person again. There’s a lot on the work session schedule, including the proposed housing project at the former K-mart site.
With pandemic restrictions easing, the city announces some openings including playgrounds and some fields. But the splash pad is closed for all of 2020.
The first City Council meeting of 2020 was relatively quiet, with a nod to local baseball and discussions on a community pollinator garden, expanded ice arena, and legislative priorities.
After two very long meetings in a row, last night’s 20-minute West St. Paul City Council meeting was a welcome breather. The main agenda didn’t include much, though more interesting discussions happened during the Open Council Work Session.
