West St. Paul City Council approved new sidewalk on Bidwell Street over neighbor opposition and heard about a levy increase from South Metro Fire.
The upcoming West St. Paul City Council meeting will include potentially controversial public input on a proposed sidewalk, details on a fire and EMS levy increase, and more.
For the first time in more than a year the West St. Paul City Council chambers returned to normal with Council members and staff at the table and room for a full audience. It was also a return to business as usual with the agenda comprised of mostly routine items.
Mostly routine business at the upcoming West St. Paul City Council meeting as well as another opportunity to expand sidewalks in the city.
The West St. Paul City Council discussed the police response to mental health and economic development strategy, as well as approved expansions to where liquor stores and tattoo shops can locate. They also approved a 2022 street reconstruction project over neighbor complaints.
The upcoming West St. Paul City Council meeting will include several public hearings and some important conversations about mental health and economic development.
