In a split decision, City Council voted to allow smoking marijuana in parks except around kids. Other discussion included the 2024 budget and Robert Street sidewalk snow removal.
Marijuana smoking will again come before City Council as they consider a policy to prohibit smoking in parks. Other items on the agenda include Robert Street sidewalk snow removal and a budget update.
With Minnesota’s legalization of marijuana, West St. Paul’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will consider whether or not to ban smoking in parks.
