U.S. Rep. Angie Craig Talks With West St. Paul Business Startups

For Congressional Startup Day, U.S. Representative Angie Craig came to the Evolve Workplace coworking space in West St. Paul for a conversation with small business startups and entrepreneurs.

More than a dozen businesses were represented, including tech startups, search groups, resource management, education, farming, and more. Business groups were also present with representatives from the River Heights Chamber of Commerce and South Robert Street Business Association. West St. Paul Mayor Dave Napier also attended, taking the opportunity to ask what kind of support businesses need on the city level.

The conversation ranged from how West St. Paul can develop a community to support small businesses to what kind of challenges and hurdles businesses face that the federal government can help with.
