Community Q&A With West St. Paul City Manager Nate Burkett

Join us for a community Q&A with West St. Paul City Manager Nate Burkett. You can learn what’s happening in your neighborhood, ask questions, and more.

When: Monday, November 21 at 6 p.m.

Where: Amore Coffee (879 Smith Ave., West St. Paul)

The event: What’s happening, West St. Paul? Got questions about the latest construction project or a quirky ordinance? We’ll have the city manager on hand to answer questions and talk about where West St. Paul is headed.

  • We’ll have cookies and cider on hand while it lasts, plus Amore is staying open late so you can get your favorite drink or snack (thanks Amore!).
  • Part of a series of events for our year-end member drive, the Community Q&A is open to the public (but geared for adults).

The city manager: The City Council chose Nate Burkett to run the city in 2021 after the previous city manager retired. Before coming to West St. Paul, Burkett served as the assistant city administrator in Shakopee and the county administrator in Aitkin and Todd Counties. Burkett grew up in the family business, served in the National Guard, and enjoys running.

  • Burkett famously made a splash during his first month on the job.

“It’s important to me to be leaving the world in a better place than I found it.”
