Trail work is happening at Thompson Park with an existing trail being widened and paved to connect to the River-to-River Greenway. It adds approximately 735 feet of accessible trails to Thompson Park.

Where: The existing trail was a dirt trail heading south from Dakota Lodge. It’s been widened and graded for paving, then extended straight south to connect with the River-to-River Greenway trail (previously the dirt trail curved to the southwest before connecting to the Greenway).

Plan: Paving this trail was included in the 2020 Thompson Park Master Plan, noted on the 10-year map.
