Minnesota House Honors West St. Paul Community Leader

Thanks to Inver Grove Ford for their support.

A resolution from the Minnesota House honored local community leader Edgar Herrera for his dedication to West St. Paul. Rep. Maria Isa Perez-Vega read the resolution at the West St. Paul Latine Community Heritage Celebration in Harmon Park today.

The resolution recognizes:

  • Herrera’s community work with Moreland Arts and Health Sciences Magnet School, West St. Paul Days, and the Citizen Academy.
  • That Herrera is “quick to lend a hand in many other ways and does so without seeking recognition.”
  • Herrera as a “tireless advocate” and commends his “dedication to and community leadership in the city of West St. Paul.”
  • That “his leadership demonstrates how one person can have a large impact on a community.”
