Thai Pepper and Thai Delicious

Thai Transition: Thai Pepper to Thai Delicious

Thanks to West St. Paul Chiropractic and Dakota County for their support.

After bringing Thai food to West St. Paul in 2019, Thai Pepper will be closing. But a new restaurant, Thai Delicious will open soon in the same spot.

Thai Pepper

Paul (Pornchai) Chaiyamart opened Thai Pepper in late 2019, hoping to make Thai food more accessible: “I always wanted to have my own Thai restaurant so I don’t need to struggle to find the food I like.”

  • Closing: Chaiyamart announced on Facebook that the West St. Paul Thai Pepper location would be closing. Their last day will be April 21.
  • Expanded: But you can still get Thai Pepper at the two dine-in locations in South Minneapolis and Bloomington that Chaiyamart opened after starting in West St. Paul.

Thai Delicious

Chaiyamart is passing the West St. Paul location on to his friend, Tai, who will open Thai Delicious.

Pace Automotive: Local, family owned auto repair. Personal, honest service.
  • Background: Tai is a native Thai from Prachinburi province, the eastern part of Thailand. She’s been a Thai chef for more than a decade.
  • Endorsement: “Tai will continue Thai food at this spot and you all will enjoy her Thai food as we do,” Chaiyamart said in the announcement.
  • Opening: The hope is Thai Delicious will open in May.
