Future location of Wingstop in West St. Paul

Wingstop Coming to West St. Paul

Thanks to our members for helping us inform West St. Paul since 2019.

The chicken wing franchise Wingstop is opening a new location in West St. Paul. The fast food restaurant will be located on Robert Street and Wentworth next to FedEx and LA Fitness in the former Adecco Staffing space.

When: No announcement on an opening date yet. Given the building permits, it will likely be at least several months.

Pace Automotive: Local, family owned auto repair. Personal, honest service.

Why more chicken: Because it sells? While this only adds to West St. Paul’s reputation for chicken-focused fast food (KFC, Pollo Campero, Cane’s, Chick-fil-A), it’s worth noting the city still has more taco joints or Asian restaurants.

Approvals: Since Wingstop is moving into an existing space with no major changes, there are no site plans, public hearings, or city approvals other than standard building permits. As long as they follow code, the city has no control over the project.

July 31, 2024 Update: Now Open
