The ALS Wiffleball Tournament held in Harmon Park this past weekend raised $3,000 for charity. Started in 2013 by West St. Paul resident John Cronin when he was just 13, the tournament has become an annual tradition. It raises money to fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease and benefits the ALS Association.
Team Nightmare won the championship this year.
While the tournament is over, there’s still time to donate. And more wiffleball will come to Harmon Park next month with the National Wiffleball Tournament.
