Grande Sunrise Mexican Restaurant Coming to West St. Paul

Thanks to Dakota County for their support.

The Grande Sunrise, a full-service, sit-down Mexican Restaurant, is relocating from Minneapolis to West St. Paul.

  • When: They are remodeling the current space and don’t expect to open until October will open October 20.
  • Where: The former Beirut Restaurant space at 1385 S. Robert Street, vacated last year when Beirut moved to Rosemount.

“It’s the place we always wanted to be, Robert Street,” said manager Roberto Grande. His family owns the restaurant and they live nearby in Inver Grove Heights.

Pace Automotive: Local, family owned auto repair. Personal, honest service.

Coming home: Not only is it closer to home, but the family previously ran a restaurant on the West Side before they moved to their current location in Minneapolis.

Improvements: In addition to remodeling, they have plans to add an outdoor patio in 2026.
