Crafting and Flowers for Valentine’s Day

Thanks to Amore Coffee for their support. Amore hosts free homework help for all ages, led by retired professors, on Sundays from 4-6 p.m.

Local art boutique Poppy and Wonderments is hosting a Galentine’s Day craft night on Friday, February 13 to help you get ready for Valentine’s Day.

  • What: Dubbed a “Galentine’s Sip and Shop,” activities include build your own bouquets, make and take crafts, and a free hot cocoa bar. Plus a food and supply drive to support Neighborhood House. The crafts include vintage chocolate box decorating, love letter felt garland, and friendship bracelets.
  • Why: It’s an event centered on connection and creativity, because “without joy we will burn out.”
  • When: Friday, February 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free entry, free hot chocolate, but there is a cost for the crafts ($8 each or $20 for all three) and bouquets ($30). They do ask you to RSVP if you can so they have the proper quantity of materials on hand.
  • Where: At Poppy and Wonderments, 374 Annapolis Street West in West St. Paul.

Want flowers but can’t make it? They have hand-tied bouquets and vase arrangements available for pick up and delivery on February 13 and 14.
