We shared a photo of Lake Burger King a few weeks back, but here’s a 2022 photo of the growing puddle in the former Burger King lot in West St. Paul. The photo and social media post is referenced in a Star Tribune story about the empty lot. Last month we gave an update on the Popeyes/Burger King drama as site work finally cleared the remains of the former Burger King. The empty lot is currently for sale.

The recently ended state legislative session has some impact on West St. Paul with money for local projects, including $1 million for 150 Thompson, $1.3 million for Thompson Park, flexibility for ISD 197 funds, and more.
