Sixth Annual Community Bike Ride

Thanks to Amore Coffee for their support. Check out their website and social sites for summer specials and shenanigans! Thanks for supporting small and local businesses.

More than 120 people joined the sixth annual West St. Paul Rider community bike ride this weekend. The festivities included artwork, donuts, and free stickers and magnets for participants. The family-friendly ride covered 6.9-miles of trails around West St. Paul as part of the annual Explore West St. Paul Days community celebration.

Several elected officials came out, including Dakota County Commissioner Joe Atkins, West St. Paul Mayor Dave Napier, and West St. Paul City Council Member Wendy Berry.

Pace Automotive: Local, family owned auto repair. Personal, honest service.

Thanks: The event happened thanks to more than 20 volunteers, West St. Paul Police Reserves, and Dakota County Park Patrol, plus the West St. Paul Reader, Dakota County, and the City of West St. Paul.  South Robert Street Business Association once again donated to support the ride, including donuts, juice, and coffee from Amore. Local artist Travis Olson created this year’s artwork and Jeannine Pohl of Block Portrait Studios photographed the event.

Support: The free event raised money for the Residents of Color Collective (ROCC), a local organization that empowers marginalized communities of color. (If you weren’t able to donate at the event, you can donate now.)
