Swiszcz created the original “West St. Paul” song video in 2008 in response to a call for entries from the Walker Art Center. Minnesota Original featured Swiszcz’s work and gave some background on the song in a 2010 episode.
More than 120 people joined the sixth annual West St. Paul Rider community bike ride this weekend. The festivities included artwork, donuts, and free stickers and magnets for participants.
Much like neighboring communities, West St. Paul has serious needs for their fire station, police station, and city hall. Council approved an initial study to explore options, feasibility, and costs.
Sixty-five local groups marched, rolled, and danced down Charlton Street on Saturday as part of the annual Explore West St. Paul Days parade.
