West St. Paul City Council overrode the mayor’s first veto, approved a liquor license and improvements to outdoor seating at El Cubano, and tweaked the Open Council Work Session format to be more productive.
West St. Paul’s City Council will consider a veto override, look to further tweak the Open Council Work Session (OCWS) meetings, and consider an expansion of the Smith/Dodd Overlay.
West St. Paul City Council passed the preliminary 2021 budget. We also learned that “ribs and steak” might be coming to the vacant Baker’s Square.
Monday’s West St. Paul City Council meeting should be relatively short (famous last words). The main items on the agenda are next year’s budget, an errant fence, and a business subsidy.
