Here’s a view looking west along Butler Avenue at the eastern edge of West St. Paul in 1961 and today in 2021.

Aside from the building on the corner and updated signs, it’s hard to see a lot of differences between the two views. There are now more houses, especially on the north side of Butler. But the biggest change happened behind the view of the camera with the construction of Highway 52.
