An extremely light agenda for the West St. Paul City Council with just two items, both of which are up for a second and final reading—an interim marijuana ordinance and an assessment for Robert Street sidewalk snow removal.
Marijuana
As discussed in June, Council will consider the final reading of an interim marijuana ordinance to prohibit new businesses until staff has time to put a regulatory framework in place. With legalization on the state level, much of the work happens there, but there is some regulation the city can consider.
More on the Agenda
The only other item on the agenda is a public hearing for an assessment for Robert Street sidewalk snow removal. There is now Open Council Work Session (OCWS) or Economic Development Authority (EDA) meetings, so it’ll be a short night.
