Our 2023 member drive wrapped up last night. There were a total of 54 new or upgraded members over our 13-day drive. That’s a huge success. Thank you for supporting neighborhood news.
What’s it mean: We’ll add coverage of ISD 197 school board meetings starting next week.

Thanks:
- New: Big thanks to the 54 new/upgraded members who helped us accomplish our goal.
- Existing: Thank you to our existing members who continue to support us.
- Businesses: A big shout out to the businesses who supported our member drive: Block Portrait Studios, Clothesline Laundromat, 5-8 Grill & Tap, Amore Coffee, Beirut Restaurant, Culver’s, FoodSmith, Inver Grove Ford, Pace’s Automotive, Sports Clips, Turbo Tim’s Anything Automotive, and WSP Chiropractic.
- Designers: Thanks to Andrew Baussan and Travis Olson for designing our swag.
Thank you!
Building a Stronger Community
We started back in 2019, unsure if this idea could work. We’re approaching five years in, and it’s incredibly gratifying to see neighborhood news work. We’re informing the community and building connections—you could see it in action at our Community Q&A and members party. But it only happens with support.
There are currently 269 members who support neighborhood news. They’re making it possible for the entire community to be informed. It’s amazing to have that many people who care about their community and are willing to invest in making it stronger. We are immensely grateful. Thank you.
Join now: While the member drive may be over, it’s never too late to support neighborhood news.
