Leap Into Neighborhood News: Save 15% on Annual Membership Today Only

Leap Into Neighborhood News

Today only we’re offering increased savings on annual membership. Normally it’s a 5% discount, today it’s 15%. Happy Leap Day!

How it works: We do neighborhood news supported by neighbors. Rather than charging subscriptions and locking our news behind a paywall, we make it freely available to the community. We rely on folks like you to support our work and help us inform the community.

So far, so good: Launched in 2019, we currently have 274 members.

More: Continued growth helps us ensure coverage, expand, and do more. Thanks to member support, we recently started covering ISD 197 School Board meetings. We’ve also added more posts from guest writers and photographers.

Support local news. Get a local postcard.

Details: Unfortunately, existing paid members are not eligible for this discount due to a quirk in our member system (doh). But existing member who upgrade to annual will get a West St. Paul swag pack of magnets, stickers, and buttons.

Thank you: Ongoing support keeps the neighborhood news coming and allows us to expand. Thanks to our existing members for making it possible.

Leap Day bonus: Last Leap Day we met Rose Slomba who was celebrating her 100th birthday. Unfortunately Slomba passed away later that year, but we’re still inspired by her attitude: “I just like to keep going,” Slomba said. “I was never laying around, I wanted to do something.”

One more pitch: So become a member and support neighborhood news. Today only you can save 15% on annual membership. (Why 15%? Because the system wouldn’t let us do 29%. So 15% is three times the normal savings, so that’s still a good leap, right?)
