ISD 197 is hosting a district-wide book club with The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. Elementary school principals will host an interactive read-aloud on Google Meets. Published in 2016, The Wild Robot is a New York Times best-selling book and was adapted as an animated movie starring Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, and Mark Hamill that releases in theaters September 27.
When: September 18, 26, and 30, all at 6:30 p.m.
What: Elementary principals will read a few chapters, followed by a fun trivia contest on the Kahoot website.
Who: ISD 197 students and their families are invited.
How to participate: Links to the Google Meet were sent out to families today. No book required.
