Man Found Dead Near Wentworth Library

West St. Paul police are investigating after a severely decomposed body was found in a wooded area near Wentworth Library.

“The body was found in a state of advanced decomposition, indicating the person has been deceased for an extended period of time,” read an update from police. “At this time, there are no obvious signs of trauma.”

They believe the deceased to be an adult male. Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the cause of death and will confirm the person’s identity.
