Heights Fest Coming August 7-8

The annual Heights Fest is coming to Mendota Heights this week with food trucks, live music, golf tournament, pickleball, and more.

Friday, August 7

Food Truck Fest – 4:30-8 p.m. at Mendakota Park (2111 Dodd Road)

Residential real estate services serving Minneapolis, St Paul and the Twin Cities Metro. Looking for a Realtor to help you buy, sell or invest?

Food trucks include: Taste the Real Nawlins’, Deep Roots, Gray Duck Concessions, Ixcali Tacos, JP Concessions, Philly Station, Pizza Karma, Sawatee, and Santana’s Sugar Shack.

  • 4:30-6:30 p.m. – Free balloon art and face painting.
  • 5:00-6:00 p.m. – Comedy magician from A Touch of Magic.
  • 6:30-8:00 p.m. – Live music from RagTown.

Saturday, August 8

Splash & Play Party – 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Mendakota Park (2111 Dodd Road)

Water fun at the park with slip and slides, sprinklers, water balloons, waterpark bounce houses, foam pit party, and more. Recommended for ages 5 and up. There will be limited changing areas available.

Mini & Me Golf Tournament – 1:30-4 p.m. at Par 3 Golf Course (1695 Dodd Road)

A heartwarming golf event that pairs kids with their favorite adult for a round of fun golf with traditional play as well as mini-challenges and surprises along the way. Come dressed in your most creative matching outfits. Register online.

Glow Pickleball – 8-10 p.m. at Marie Park (1780 Lilac Lane)

A free evening of glow-in-the-dark pickleball with a DJ, yard games, and s’mores. All glow supplies will be provided, with blacklights lighting the courts.
