The West St. Paul City Council did a lot this week, including officially hiring a new city manager, approving the return of Burger King and a drive thru for Jimmy John’s, approving two of three proposed charter amendments, and clearing the way for pickleball.
The West St. Paul City Council will officially approve a new city manager on Monday, as well as approving drive thrus for Burger King and Jimmy Johns, plus consider three charter amendments.
West St. Paul considers plans to permanently convert underused tennis courts to pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in the nation.
The big news for Monday’s City Council meeting is that City Manager Ryan Schroeder is retiring. Other topics include park improvements and a public hearing for the Moreland Avenue reconstruction.
