Wednesday, November 11, 2020 is Veterans Day, so in gratefulness to our veterans and active duty service members, a number of businesses are offering freebies and deals.
Veterans Day Deals
Here’s a list of the local Veterans Day specials:
- 5-8 Grill & Tap: Free burger with a purchased burger or entree.
- Applebees: Free meal from a limited menu.
- Beirut: 50% discount (Dine in only, must either be in uniform, wearing a military cap, or show military ID. )
- BLVD: Free burger and fries.
- Culver’s: Free custard.
- Denny’s: Free build-your-own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon.
- Dunkin’: Free donut.
- Great Clips: Free haircut.
- Jameson’s Irish Bar: Free bangers and mash.
- Little Caesar’s: Free lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sport Clips: Free haircut.
- Starbucks: Free coffee.
- Target: 10% discount between November 1-11 (have to register online).
- Walgreen’s: 20% discount from November 11-15 (have to use in-store card).

- Beirut: 10% ‘person in uniform’ discount.
- Carhartt: 25% discount for military, first responders, and nurses.
- Jiffy Lube: 25% discount for active-duty service members and veterans.
- Lowe’s: 10% discount for active-duty service members and veterans.
- Mattress Firm: 10% discount for active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders.
- O’Reilly Auto Parts: 10% discount for active-duty service members, veterans, and their immediate families.
