The new Chase Bank and Starbucks on the southern end of West St. Paul are now open. We reported last summer about the new outlot buildings in front of Cub Foods and the two likely tenants. There are two more retail space as well that are currently unoccupied.
The new Starbucks is not replacing the existing location at Thompson and Robert, we just have enough of a habit to be a two-Starbucks town (three if you count the one inside Target). The new Starbucks on Robert and Mendota opened earlier this month.
Chase Bank opened back in February and is the first Chase Bank in Dakota County (they have existing branches in St. Paul and Minneapolis).
“We’re excited to officially become part of the West Saint Paul community and have this branch serve as a home for existing and future Chase customers in the area,” said Branch Manager Khalid Khoury.

June 3, 2021: New Tenant
In May, Xfinity opened a new location in one of the two open spaces in this new retail center. They celebrated with tacos and ice cream.
