In honor of Veterans Day, a number of local businesses are offering freebies and deals for veterans on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. In gratitude to our veterans, here’s a rundown of the local deals we could find:
Veterans Day Deals
Here’s a list of the local Veterans Day specials:
- 5-8 Grill & Tap: Free burger.*
- Applebees: Free meal from a limited menu.
- Beirut: 50% discount (Dine in only, must either be in uniform, wearing a military cap, or show military ID. )*
- BLVD: Free burger and fries.*
- Culver’s: Free custard.*
- Denny’s: Free Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon.
- Dunkin’: Free donut.*
- Great Clips: Free haircut.
- Jameson’s Irish Bar: Free walleye basket.
- Little Caesar’s: Free lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Qdoba: 50% off an entree.
- Sport Clips: Free haircut.
- Starbucks: Free coffee.*
- Target: 10% discount on two purchases (have to register online).
- Walgreen’s: 20% discount from November 11-14 (have to use in-store card).
* These were last year’s discounts and we couldn’t find confirmation for this year, though it’s likely they’re still available.
Serving Veterans All Year
A number of businesses also offer a year-round discount for veterans:
- Beirut: 10% ‘person in uniform’ discount.
- Carhartt: 25% discount for military, first responders, and nurses.
- Jiffy Lube: 25% discount for active-duty service members and veterans.
- Lowe’s: 10% discount for active-duty service members and veterans.
- Mattress Firm: 10-20% discount for active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders.
- O’Reilly Auto Parts: 10% discount for active-duty service members, veterans, and their immediate families.
