Why: Broken glass. The clean up process will require completely draining and refilling the 130,000-gallon pool.

Timeline: Closed on Friday, the pool isn’t expected to reopen until next week. The city will share updates on its website.

Alternatives: The Harmon Park splash pad is always an option.

Pool woes: The future of the city pool is already up in the air and it has to open this year without a slide due to safety issues.
