After closing in late 2023 and reopening five months later, the West St. Paul Bingo Palace is now closing permanently. Their last day will be Saturday, April 18.

“We know this is disappointing news,” read a post on the Bingo Palace Facebook page. “It’s just as hard for us. We’re incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty, and relationships built over the years.”

  • Why: Menards, who owns the building, has plans for the space (no word on what those are—currently no plans or permits have been submitted to the city).
  • Moving?: There was a plan to move to South St. Paul, but that didn’t come together. Reportedly, the board opted to shut down instead.

The Bingo Palace staff also shared a video expressing their disappointment and thanks.

Background: The Bingo Palace closed in November 2023, citing declining sales. They opened five months later in April 2024 backed by the local chapter of AMVETS.
