Empire the Luxe Lab Clothing Boutique Opens

Thanks to Clothesline LaundromatBisanz Brothers, and Lindsay Bjerke with Norton Realty for their support.

A new clothing boutique, Empire the Luxe Lab, has a grand opening today in the former Cardinal Corner space.

  • What: It’s a collaboration between owners Mikey and Ebony Yarbrough. The store features curated women’s and men’s fashion, accessories, and luxury-inspired streetwear.
  • When: They’re hosting a grand opening today, Saturday, April 25 from noon to 8 p.m. Then look for regular hours, starting Tuesday.
  • Where: Next to Mike’s Butcher Shop and Dairy Queen at 1098 S. Robert Street.

Formerly known as Bougies Boutique, they’ve had different locations over the last 10 years, including Mall of America. For now the men’s and women’s clothing are combined in one space, but they’ll expand into the vacant space next month.

History: Cardinal Corner closed at the end of 2023. The space briefly housed a Loan Max Title Loan location, but it didn’t fit the zoning and had to move out.
