The City of West St. Paul will be hosting their virtual City Council meeting for the second time on Monday. Once again council members will be calling in remotely and citizen comments will be handled through a dial-in option.

The agenda is much lighter this week, which will make the whole virtual meeting effort that much easier.

No In-Person Attendance

Just to be clear, remember that this is a virtual meeting thanks to the coronavirus and public attendance at city hall is not allowed. The public can watch the meeting live on Town Square TV or cable channel 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020.

There will be a call-in number displayed on the screen to allow citizen comments.

Notes:

  • North Gateway: The proposed apartments on Robert and Annapolis will receive a final reading for a zoning change.
  • Housing rehab: Back in February the Council approved a housing rehab program. The Economic Development Authority (EDA) will approve an agreement with the organization that actually services the loans.
  • Thompson Oaks: The EDA will also approve an extension to the development agreement with Oppidan for the proposed apartments on the former Thompson Oaks golf course that were approved last fall. The developer has reported some delays related to coronavirus uncertainties.
