City Council Preview: August 31, 2020

Among other routine business, the West St. Paul City Council will consider tax increment financing for two redevelopment projects, one of the final steps before these projects can move forward.

Apartment Project TIFs

Two major apartment projects will come before the City Council for approval of tax increment financing (TIF) and public hearing. The two projects are the long-awaited Kmart project from Dominium and the new Town Center One project.

Other Items on the Agenda:

  • During the Open Council Work Session (OCWS), the Council will discuss pond treatment and a potential bus rapid transit (BRT) route along Robert Street.

The public can watch the meeting live on Town Square TV or cable channel 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 (5:45 p.m. for the OCWS).
