After being shut down last year, the West St. Paul city pool is back and will open on Saturday, June 12.
West St. Paul City Council had a light agenda this week with just Crusader Avenue reconstruction on the regular agenda and parking minimums on the work session agenda.
This week’s West St. Paul City Council meeting included informational updates on next week’s election, homeless outreach, a coming Thompson Avenue turnback, and the art park. There was also business as usual with failed alcohol and tobacco checks and public hearings for citations, assessments, and street improvements.
The free West St. Paul Winter Fun Fest is on Saturday, February 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Dodge Nature Center.
After two very long meetings in a row, last night’s 20-minute West St. Paul City Council meeting was a welcome breather. The main agenda didn’t include much, though more interesting discussions happened during the Open Council Work Session.
