Stack of postcards featuring the 2022 Explore West St. Paul Days Parade

2022 Parade Postcard

We recently hit our goal of 175 members and sent out our latest locally commissioned postcard featuring the inaugural Explore West St. Paul Days parade. Thanks to our generous supporters who make neighborhood news possible.

The postcard shows several views of the Explore West St. Paul Days parade, captured by student photographer Sam Amundson. It was the first city parade since the pandemic and the inaugural event since the city took over the annual celebration. We were thrilled to commission Amundson to take pictures of the parade and share that event.

You can support neighborhood news and help create our next postcard by becoming a member through Patreon. Membership starts at just $3 per month or pay annually and save 5%. This income allows us to do the work we do, from local election coverage to reporting on new businesses in town. Our next goal is 200 members and we’ll create another postcard as we work toward our big goal of 250 members—that’s when we add coverage of ISD 197 school board meetings.

Thanks to our members for supporting neighborhood news and making our latest local postcard possible! Also big thanks to Sam Amundson for the amazing photographs.
